I noticed the pistol zombies have shotgun vweps. I looked in the monster file in the src and it said that kind of zombie had GUN_SG. Is this a glitch or do I suck at reading code XD.

lolz na ur right SG is shot gun i think it should be GUN_PISTOL or GUN_PL (there should be an enum in the top of weapons.h with all the guns listed (GUN_*) .. if you care to try to fix it ;p

Weapon names have been changed from GUN_* to WEAP_* a long time ago, you must be looking at an old source snapshot. In the latest version this moster has a WEAP_PISTOL with a "vwep/shotg" model (I forgot to change when I changed the weapon). It's been fixed now.
The code snapshot that comes with the game is old (we should update it), if you want more recent versions you can get the files from the latest revision on SourceForge (updated about once a week).

Experimenting in SP mode, I was spawning support troopers and different kinds of zombies and I realized they won't attack zombie 7, the ones with overalls.

I have a lighting error in the Game, anytime I start the game it is very bright and anytime I exist the game, it gets really bright.

Teleports don't work even if they have a teledest than it will say they don't.

@zman this is more than likely due to how your graphics card is handling the gamma.. type /gamma 100 or go to the options menu and change it.

I have a lighting error in the Game, anytime I start the game it is very bright and anytime I exist the game, it gets really bright. This usually happens to when playing in windowed mode. I've been trying to fix this issue for a long time but to no avail. I think it's a bug with the SDL library that keeps changing the gamma at exit. If I have any updates I'll post here.

In survival, usually after playing an ffa or team game, bots will kill only you, but not each other if it was team, or if it was ffa they will kill everyone. If I don't play anything beforehand than the AI works and they only kill zombies. Speaking of which, I've noticed a problem in the way survival works. It is supposed to be a competition to see who can kill the most zombies, and death means having to wait until next round. I think there will be a problem with tking later because some people would prefer the -1 penalty than having that person alive for the round. See what I mean? Kind of against the spirit of the game, and I wouldn't do it, but there are many tryhards in the world.

I know hes working on getting the auto update to work as expected fully and a few other odds and ends. Once that's done we should be able to give it a go and see. Ed

In the next release teamkiller will pay a penalty of 700 guts for each kill and are not allowed to spawn the next time they die (only for 1 round). You can also TK them without a penalty (only do that when you're sure, otherwise you'll be in big trouble).

There's a bizarre thing happening in main where in multiplayer survival your console floods with "Can't find entity spawn spot messages" seemingly at random times and the fps drops very low and zombies appear walking in the air with very large hitboxes. You can fire nowhere near them and they die. It's as weird as it sounds, and I wonder if it's only happening to me?
